Guarini Grad Student Peer Mentorship Program
The Guarini Peer Mentorship Program (GPMP) is a student-led initiative dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive graduate student community at Dartmouth. Designed to ease the transition for first-year graduate students, GPMP connects incoming students with experienced mentors who provide guidance on academics, research, housing, and campus life.
Through personalized mentor-mentee pairings, GPMP helps first-years navigate their new environment by offering valuable insights, networking opportunities, and a welcoming support system. The program encourages cross-disciplinary connections, empowering students to engage in both on- and off-campus activities while building lasting professional and personal relationships.
By participating in GPMP, mentees gain access to a network of peers who can help them maximize their Dartmouth experience, while mentors develop leadership skills and contribute to strengthening the graduate community. Whether it’s answering questions about coursework, sharing tips on adjusting to graduate life, or introducing mentees to helpful campus resources, GPMP is committed to ensuring that every student feels supported and prepared to thrive.
GPMP FAQs
