Chrissy is the Manager of Pharmaceutical Product Testing as well as the Sustainability Officer at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories. Chrissy’s main role is to oversee the laboratory responsible for testing major pharmaceutical products to make sure they are safe, effective, and follow FDA guidelines.

>> My name is Chrissy Leslie and I'm a manager of a pharmaceutical product testing out at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories. So for that part of my job my daily responsibilities are basically overseeing the lab operations. We test a lot of finished pharmaceutical products for a variety of pharmaceutical companies so we fall under FDA guidelines to make sure that the products that we test are safe and effective for their intended use so part of my job is to make sure that we are testing the samples meeting those requirements. I ensure that the data that we generate meets all the quality requirements and then part of my job also is dealing with the people that I manage so I have eleven supervisors that report into me and almost 80 indirect reports. So definitely involved with I'd say helping to provide advice to them, provide opportunity for career growth. We have a lot of new client contracts so part of what I've been doing recently is hiring a lot of new people out at the lab and fulfilling those contracts so that we can ramp up to have enough staff to be able to perform the work that our clients want us to perform.
