About UpperClass

www.upperclass.app

UpperClass is helping institutions activate the most trusted voices on campus: students and creators.

We enable universities, colleges, and education organizations to build structured student creator programs that generate authentic content, strengthen community engagement, and help future students discover institutions through the people they trust most.

As part of this mission, we are building a global network of Student Creators — authentic student storytellers who turn their everyday campus experiences into professional digital portfolios while helping brands and universities drive genuine engagement.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and authentic student storytellers to join UpperClass as Student Creators.

As a Student Creator, you will turn your everyday university life—the late-night study sessions, campus hacks, and academic wins—into high-value digital content. You will act as the primary source of truth for your campus, helping universities and global brands share honest, raw, and authentic perspectives with the world.

This is a fully flexible, task-based opportunity designed to fit around your GPA, providing competitive compensation while scaling your professional digital footprint and building your personal brand.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Campus Coverage

Produce engaging short-form content (TikTok, Reels, etc.) capturing the real, unpolished student experience.

Participate in active brand and university campaigns that align with your personal values.

Turn everyday campus moments into compelling visual stories that resonate with peers and prospective students.

Act as a bridge for prospective and international students by showcasing the real-time campus reality to reduce enrollment uncertainty.

Core Themes & Topics

Campus Hacks & Student Life Survival Guides

Academics, Study Tips & Late-Night Sessions

Authentic Campus Vlogs & Behind-the-Scenes Tours

Peer-to-Peer Insights & Academic Wins

Additional Opportunities

Depending on performance, consistency, and engagement, Student Creators may also participate in:

Pathways to become an official Campus Leader

Exclusive agency briefs and global brand collaborations

Advanced content strategy workshops (mastering hooks, analytics, and storytelling)

High-ROI institutional marketing campaigns

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled as a student at a participating college or university.

An authentic voice and a passion for storytelling through digital media.

No follower minimum required but content quality is a must: We value raw authenticity over vanity metrics (you do not need 100k followers).

Basic capability in recording and editing short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).

Ability to balance content creation tasks effectively with your academic responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication skills and comfort being in front of the camera.

Interest in digital marketing, audience engagement, content strategy, and data analytics.

Active presence on one or more social media platforms.

A strong desire to build a verified personal brand and a professional digital portfolio.

Compensation

Active Campaign Rates

$18.00 – $25.00 per hour for active campaigns.

Fully task-based assignments allowing you to earn while you live.

Additional Benefits

Early exposure to official brand and university creative briefs.

Mastery of technical content strategy, algorithms, and digital storytelling.

Working Arrangement

Part-Time Student Role: Fully flexible, task-based assignments.

Built entirely around your class schedule and academic priorities.

Primarily on-campus and hybrid/remote environment.

Total autonomy to choose the campaigns and brands you want to work with.

Why Join UpperClass as a Student Creator?

At UpperClass, you won’t just create content — you’ll build a career while you study.

As a Student Creator, you’ll:

Get paid for the genuine student experiences you are already having.

Build a verified professional portfolio that replaces the traditional relic of a resume.

Learn the business and technical side of the creator economy, including hooks, analytics, and storytelling that converts.

Help prospective students succeed by giving them the honest insights they need.

Your story is your portfolio. Get paid today, get hired tomorrow.

Interested?

Please submit:

Links to your primary social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

A brief statement on why you want to represent your campus community.

Examples of any previous content you’ve created (if available).
