Financial Representative (Pre-Management)

As a fraternal financial services organization, Modern Woodmen exists for the benefit of nearly 740,000 members.

Our representatives provide financial products to help members protect their families and secure their financial futures. The purchase of these accounts help fund member benefits and social, educational, and volunteer programs that identify and meet local needs. These fraternal activities foster genuine relationships within our communities, allowing for membership growth and greater community impact all while being spearheaded and sourced by our representatives involved in these communities.

As a financial representative for the North Carolina region, you will:

  • Help your clients (Modern Woodmen members) plan for their financial security through life insurance, annuities, investments, and retirement and college savings accounts.
  • Bring people together through various fraternal volunteer programs to help make your communities better.
  • Be responsible for meeting professional growth and activity metrics.
  • Receive comprehensive training and ongoing professional development from local Modern Woodmen leaders.
  • Obtain the necessary licensing to facilitate the sale of financial products (including Texas State insurance Licensing and FINRA Series Licensing, company-paid).
  • Have unlimited earning potential with financial support to begin a practice and to learn during training.

Growth Opportunities

Your mission as a leader in training (through our Pathway to Leadership program) is to establish yourself as a financial service professional while preparing to train and lead others. The goal is to help transition you into a management role. This program has rigorous performance and education standards. For the right person, this position has excellent rewards.

Job qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Entrepreneurial minded with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Customer Service or employee management experience will prepare you for this role.
  • Backgrounds in Finance, Banking, or other Financial Services is preferred.
  • Ability to autonomously build and manage client relationships
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent resident status
  • Must currently reside or will be residing within the state of North Carolina

Earn what you’re worth:

$110,000 average income*

$173,346 total compensation**

$62,243 average first-year income**

*Based on 2022 earnings, averages do not include compensation for financial representatives in their first year.

**Based on 2022 earnings, including pension, 401(K) full-match, employer paid health/dental/vision benefits, and average performance bonus compensation

***Based on 2022 earnings for first-year representatives in North Carolina area, but does not include compensation from FINRA-required Securities Licensed sales.
